As of lately

So I don’t talk much about my family and my brothers illness. He was born with spinal bifida and hydrocephalous. Do he was born with major brain damage that left him physically and mentally handicapped. He’s been in the hospital since the 2nd of December though with a major infection in his shunt system in his brain that drains spinal fluid. He had them removed and put back in. There was complications with cysts that were near his shunts. He was fine one day and the next he was unresponsive in the icu again. Since then he’s been on a respirator and extremely out of it. It’s hard watching someone you love so much deteriorate like that. The infectious disease doctors found another infection and they say that it is completely antibiotic immune and there’s nothing else they can do. They want to remove his feeding tube. I don’t even know what to think… Like we don’t want him to suffer, like the doctors said the infection is bad and it’s hurting him extremely bad… But on the other hand it’s just so hard letting go I don’t know. I’m sorry I’ll stop ranting now
